Usage Guidelines
Users are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and order of their assigned lockers. All items stored must comply with the school's policies on prohibited items.
Lockers may be used to store textbooks, notebooks, medical equipment, personal protective equipment (PPE), and personal items.
The storage of flammable materials, illegal substances, weapons, perishable food items (beyond a day), and items that violate school policies or local laws is strictly prohibited.

Security and liability
Students should not share their locker combinations with others and must secure their lockers at all times. The school is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
The school reserves the right to inspect lockers at any time, with or without notice, to ensure compliance with school policies, safety regulations, and legal requirements.
The school assumes no liability for damage to personal property stored in lockers.

Maintenance
Any issues with locker functionality, such as broken locks or damaged interiors, should be reported immediately to the Office of the Dean of Student Affairs.
The school will arrange for necessary repairs as soon as possible. Users may be temporarily reassigned to another locker during the repair period.
Additionally, in consideration of facility needs, SMHS Administration & Operations may reassign lockers to users. After a designated amount of time from receiving proper notice that lockers will be reassigned, SMHS Administration & Safety reserves the right to facilitate moving items that are left in the original locker to the reassigned one.

End-of-Year Procedures
Users must clear their lockers and remove all personal belongings at the end of the academic year. Any items left behind will be considered abandoned and may be disposed of by the school.
Items left in lockers after May 31st will be disposed of by the school.

Lockers are for MD and Health Sciences students and for a period of their first two years.
